Traffic Awareness Campaign by NSS RBPU | Road Safety Initiative at Hoshiarpur

To promote road safety awareness and responsible driving, the NSS volunteers of the University School of Engineering & Computing, Rayat Bahra Professional University (RBPU), Hoshiarpur, organized a Traffic Awareness Campaign on 29th January 2026 at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Jian (Chabbewal).

The campaign aimed to educate school students and the local community about the importance of traffic rules, pedestrian safety, helmet usage, seat belts, and disciplined driving behavior. Through informative posters, awareness speeches, and interactive sessions, NSS volunteers effectively communicated key messages related to road safety and accident prevention.

Students actively participated in discussions on traffic signals, safe crossing practices, and the consequences of traffic violations. The interactive approach helped create awareness among young learners, encouraging them to become responsible road users and safety ambassadors in their communities.

This NSS traffic awareness initiative reflects RBPU’s strong commitment to social responsibility, public safety, and community engagement. By organizing such programs, the university continues to contribute towards building a safer and more responsible society.
