650th Gurpurab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji Celebrated at Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur

Rayat Bahra Professional University (RBPU), Hoshiarpur, organised a State-Level Seminar commemorating the 650th Gurpurab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji, celebrating his timeless teachings of equality, humanity, compassion, dignity and social harmony. The seminar reflected upon the relevance of Guru Ravidas Ji’s philosophy in promoting universal brotherhood and an inclusive society.

The programme was graced by Sh. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Hoshiarpur, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Ishant, MLA, Chabbewal, as the Guest of Honour. Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Director, Higher Education Department, Punjab, also attended the event along with esteemed members of the Sant Samaj, including Sant Nirmal Das Ji, Sant Pardeep Das Ji and Bhehanji Architect Santosh Ji.

Dr. Jaswant Rai, Research Officer, Department of Language, Punjab, delivered insightful reflections on the life, philosophy and teachings of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji. The distinguished guests shared inspiring thoughts on his enduring message of equality, social justice, human dignity, compassion and universal brotherhood.

The seminar was organised under the guidance of Dr. Chander Mohan Ji, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Rayat Bahra Professional University, and coordinated by Dr. Maninderpal Ji.

The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to the spiritual and social legacy of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji, whose teachings continue to inspire generations and promote the values of equality, harmony and humanity.
