Guest Lecture on Career Awareness & Digital Skills by CSRBox IBM | Placement & AI Skills Session

A Guest Lecture on Career Awareness, Placement Assistance, and Digital Skill Development, organized by CSRBox IBM, was successfully conducted on 30 January 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Management Block Seminar Hall. The session witnessed active participation from around 150 students of 4th and 6th semester, making it a highly engaging and impactful academic event.

The session was conducted by Ms. Reetu, representative of CSRBox IBM, who provided valuable insights into career planning, employability skills, and the growing importance of digital and AI-based competencies in today’s job market.

A key highlight of the lecture was the introduction of IBM SkillsBuild, a free global online learning platform offered by IBM. Students were guided through the registration process and were successfully enrolled during the session, ensuring lifetime access to a wide range of courses in Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, and digital skills.

Ms. Reetu elaborated on various IBM-certified online courses, emphasizing how these programs help students enhance their technical knowledge, improve employability, and stay competitive in the evolving professional landscape. It was also highlighted that IBM provides globally recognized certificates upon successful course completion, adding significant value to students’ academic and professional profiles.
