Plantation Through Water Bottles | NSS Activity at RBPU

Rayat Bahra Professional University (RBPU) continues its commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility through impactful NSS initiatives. On 28 January 2026, the University School of Education (USOE) successfully organized an eco-friendly NSS activity titled “Plantation Through Water Bottles.”

The activity was coordinated by Ms. Manpreet Bhatia and Ms. Priyanka, NSS Coordinators, under the esteemed supervision of Dr. Pallvi Pandit, Dean, University School of Education.

The primary objective of the initiative was to promote environmental awareness, sustainable practices, and plastic waste management. Students enthusiastically participated by reusing discarded plastic water bottles as planters, transforming waste into a valuable resource for greenery and plantation.

This innovative approach not only encouraged students to adopt eco-conscious habits but also highlighted the importance of reduce, reuse, and recycle in combating environmental pollution. The activity helped create greener surroundings within the campus while spreading awareness about sustainable living.

Through such NSS activities, RBPU aims to nurture socially responsible citizens who contribute positively toward environmental conservation and sustainable development.
