VBYLD 2027 Mega Participation Drive Held at Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur

Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur, organised an awareness and sensitisation session on the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) – 2027 Mega Participation Drive on 11 September 2026, encouraging NSS and non-NSS students to actively participate in the national-level initiative under the My Bharat Programme.

Mr. Ankush Nijhavan, Young Professional, Regional Directorate of NSS, Chandigarh, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, interacted with student volunteers from Rayat Bahra Professional University, Punjab Technical University and Panjab University, Chandigarh. He sensitised students about the National-Level Quiz Competition being organised through the My Bharat Portal and encouraged them to participate enthusiastically.

During the session, Mr. Ankush Nijhavan provided a step-by-step demonstration of the online participation process, covering login to the My Bharat Portal, accessing the VBYLD 2027 Mega Participation Drive/Quiz activity, selecting User Type: NSS, entering the Directorate of NSS Chandigarh Referral Code: 7AUQYY3E, completing registration and profile details, enrolling for the quiz, attempting the questions and successfully submitting the responses.

He also explained the various stages and steps of the VBYLD 2027 competition, helping students understand the complete process and participate with confidence. He highlighted that initiatives such as VBYLD provide young people with a valuable platform to showcase their knowledge, talent, ideas and leadership capabilities while contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

The programme was conducted by Dr. Pallavi Pandit, NSS Programme Coordinator, Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur, who motivated NSS and non-NSS students to participate actively in NSS activities and the VBYLD 2027 initiative. She encouraged students to “Be attentive, Be curious, Be informed and Be ready to participate.”

The session reinforced the message: “हमारा संकल्प – विकसित भारत, हमारी शक्ति – युवा शक्ति, हमारी पहचान – एक जिम्मेदार युवा भारत।” Mr. Ankush Nijhavan also encouraged students to strengthen the NSS Wing through active participation and reiterated the importance of using the prescribed NSS User Type and Referral Code – 7AUQYY3E while registering.

The session concluded with students being motivated to actively engage in the VBYLD 2027 Mega Participation Drive and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat through responsible, informed and empowered youth participation.
