NSS Donation Drive by University School of Law, RBPU at Govt. Elementary Smart School, Hoshiarpur

The NSS Unit of the University School of Law, Rayat Bahra Professional University (RBPU), Hoshiarpur, successfully organized a Donation Drive on 02 February 2026 at Government Elementary Smart School, Sukhiabaad, a slum area of Hoshiarpur district. The initiative aimed to support underprivileged children while fostering a sense of social responsibility and empathy among students.

The donation drive was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Chander Mohan, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, RBPU, Dr. Rangnath Singh, Dean, University School of Law, and Dr. Priyanka Puri, Head of Department, University School of Law. The activity was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Jetinder Kumar, Assistant Professor of History, University School of Law.

NSS volunteers actively collected and distributed essential items including books, stationery, clothes, and food items to school students. Along with material support, volunteers interacted with the children, motivating them to pursue education and build a better future.

The programme was carried out smoothly with the wholehearted support of faculty members. This donation drive not only brought smiles to the faces of the children but also strengthened values of empathy, cooperation, and social commitment among NSS volunteers, reflecting RBPU’s dedication to community welfare and inclusive development.
