Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of Rayat Bahra Professional University Hoshiarpur and Chairman of the Hayat Bahra Group of Institutions, here today hailed the Punjab Covernment decision to set up Rayat Bahra Professional University at Hoshiarpur and said it was a significant decision aimed at imparting quality high education to the students of the state.

Interacting with media persons, Bahra said that this self-financed educational institution will act as a catalyst in providing quality education in Hoshiarpur. Moreover, it will also play a vital role in boosting the overall development of the area. In addition, the university aims to become a hub of academic excellence for students across the region.

He said that the decision would give impetus to the spread of quality education to students in Hoshiarpur and its adjoining areas and increase the employment potential of the students. The professional courses would make the students employment ready and help them get plump placements.

He disclosed that a number of new age courses would be introduced in the Hayat Bahra Professional University in collaboration with top multinational companies to increase the employment potential of the students.
